My very first caregiver aids post was about the Surehands lift system we have in the bedroom and bathroom. To me, it is the most important aid we have. (The modified Honda Element, aka the Toaster, runs a very, very close second

Now if Skip is the one using this utensil, why do I have it as a caregiver’s aid? Well, without utensils that are easier for Skip to grip, I’d be feeding her at most meals. This gives her more independence and me less work
